The Sociology/ Anthropology curriculum is designed to allow students many choices in how they cover the breadth and depth of subject matter. However, it does take a little planning to take courses in an appropriate sequence. Statistics is a prerequisite for Social Methodology; both Social Methodology and either Sociological Theory or Anthropological Theory are prerequisites for Senior Seminar. To make sure you have the knowledge and experience to do your best work in courses, pay attention to the prerequisites and plan your course schedules more than one semester at a time.
This sample program provides a very simple template that we hope will help you plan your course of study. Very few specific courses are indicated in the sample program, but it should help you identify good options each semester.
