o       Browse approximately 50 poster exhibits

o       Organizations represented include:  the American Cancer Society, Doctors Without Borders, Goodwill Industries, Heifer International, Oxfam, Smithsonian, St. Louis Art Museum/Zoo, Habitat for Humanity, and Unicef

o       View the world’s largest non-profit job database

 

Lend a Hand for a Living Mini-Conference

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

o       Keynote speaker, Katie Wessling (’93)

o       Breakout sessions include: Non-Profit vs. For-Profit Employment:  What are the differences?  Which is a better fit for me?; How to Look for Non-Profit Jobs; Career Development in Non-Profits; Grad Schools for Non-Profit Careers

o       Panel presentation on Year of Service programs, including Peace Corps, AmeriCorps and Teach for America

o       Panel presentation of current students who have had internships in the non-profit sector

o       Presenters include Kai Gansner (’05), Linda Schulte (’07), Denise Rendina (’88), Nancy Pennington (’89), Kelsey Aurand de Razo (’07), Debi Boughton, Mark Campbell, Lesa Ketterlinus, and current students Shelley Coffman, Nicole Novak and Christa Solari
